Panel: tomaxxiBROWSE [panel based web browser for InDesign CS5]

Few days ago, my very good friend Martinho da Gloria posted picture that inspired me. It was picture of web of panel based web browser inside InDesign CS5! It was simple, just with address bar and page window, and I decided to expand it little bit more. I added back/forward, refresh, stop buttons, little menu with some useful links. Hope you will find it useful as much as I do! 😀

Keep in mind that it will not work in pre-CS5 versions of InDesign! It has no installer, so you have to unzip SWF and copy it yourself to panels folder.

Folder can be found here:

{Adobe InDesign CS5 install folder}\Plug-Ins\Panels

If “panels” folder does not exists in your “plug-ins” folder, feel free to create it.

You can download panel here:

Special thanks to
Martinho da Gloria from Automatication
for his excellent idea having browser inside InDesign! 😀

That’s it!

Have fun! 😀

You can copy/paste text from web to document, generate Lorem Ipsum and other stuff… Also, you can drag and drop pictures directly to document form web, but it will create embedded images.
